- Diana Higgins is a risk and governance professional with over 20 years’ experience across physical commodities trading, financial derivatives and market infrastructure. She chairs the Board Risk Committee at Novion Pay and is Senior Credit Risk Manager at Drax. Her career includes serving for more than 15 years at ICE Clear Europe and Centrica as Head of Credit. Earlier, she held senior credit risk roles at Enron, Williams, Uniper and Trailstone. Her current roles at Drax and Novion include supply chain counterparty risk and setting governance for safeguarding the payment chains and settlement structures essential to the effective functioning of the trading markets. A published author of Portfolio Compression, Diana has contributed to industry standards through the European Energy Traders Credit Working Group and the IECA European Educational Committee. She has delivered governance policies addressing AI, market, credit and liquidity risk. Diana holds an MBA from Edinburgh University and is a Civil Engineer from Los Andes University; she lives in London with her family.
