Hamsini Satchithananthan is currently Head of Gas Security and Flexibility at Ofgem, the UK Government energy regulator. She has built her career across the energy sector, working in commercial, legal and strategic roles at international energy companies including Constellation Energy, Gazprom, Vitol and OQ with experience in London, Geneva and Dubai. Her career spans international energy markets, complex commercial, and regulatory and energy policy matters. At Ofgem, she leads work on gas security of supply and infrastructure flexibility, working with government and industry to support the resilience of Great Britain’s energy system and ensure secure and reliable energy supplies as the energy system evolves.
