- David is the Commodity Derivatives Corporate Sales Vice President within the Global Markets team, responsible for the development of the BNP Paribas sales activity with regards to the power commodity. More specifically, he is focused on growing the structured trading product business within the BESS, solar and wind sectors. David joined BNP Paribas in March 2026 from bp where he held Origination and Senior Manager roles within its European Power Supply, Trading & Shipping and Lightsource bp divisions respectively, focused on long-term power offtake structures such as tolls, swaps, and PPA's. David is a Chartered Electrical & Electronic Engineer, having studied at the University of Aberdeen.
