- Dr Tristan Fletcher is a senior applied AI and technology leader with more than 20 years’ experience spanning financial services, fintech, healthcare, supply chains and other complex, regulated environments. He has worked as a founder and CEO, senior technical leader, consultant and academic, building and deploying AI systems from early prototypes through to enterprise-scale products. He is co-founder and CEO of ChAI, which uses AI and alternative data to help companies understand, forecast and manage commodity price risk. ChAI works across raw materials and supply chains, helping businesses anticipate price movements, understand the drivers of volatility and make better procurement and risk-management decisions. The company has also developed insurance-based approaches to protecting businesses against adverse commodity price movements. Tristan’s broader work focuses on the practical application of AI to forecasting, decision-making and risk, as well as helping senior leaders and boards identify where AI can create genuine value, how it should be governed, and how to move from experimentation to deployment.
